Nick Reeves Award for Arts and Environment

We’ve just been notified that The Branch has received a special commendation from the 2018 Nick Reeves Award for Arts and the Environment!

This award is given annually in recognition of an outstanding contribution in the field of environmental arts, and administered by the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) and the Centre for Contemporary Art and the Natural World (CCANW). Two organizations received commendations in addition to the award winner.

Alicia Bay Laurel is an American artist, author, and musician, well known for her bestselling 1970 book Living On The Earth, a notable guide for participants in the American back-to-the-land movement of the 1960s and 1970s. Having become good friends with Alicia in the past few years, we’ve starting making use of the real sharing economy together
